Haircare | Naked

I have been using Naked haircare products for almost a year now. What attracted me to these products was that they were naturally made. I suffer from sensitive skin and that includes my scalp so I have to really watch what shampoo or conditioner I use. These products have worked amazingly for me.

The Mild Shampoo for sensitive scalps has especially helped with my sensitive scalp. I mainly worry about my scalps sensitivity in the winter as my skin drys out more often. Therefore, I highly recommend this shampoo for anyone who suffers from a sensitive scalp. It also smells lovely with a slightly floral scent to it.

The Curl Defining Conditioner is designed to help define curls and keep the frizz at bay. I have curly hair and always have trouble finding products which actually help calm my hair. This product works really well and smells amazing too as it is made from kelp and avocado oil. I find the combination of this shampoo and conditioner works well for my hair, especially in the winter.

Finally, the Gorgeous Curl Taming Cream is a product I apply to my hair just before I dry it. This product is also excellent at taming my curls. I highly recommend this to anyone with curly hair.

Overall, the Naked haircare products work very well for me and I would highly recommend trying them out. Links to these products are listed below.

My Skincare Routine

I thought I'd share my skincare routine with you. I like to used a mix of brands but at the moment I am using a lot of Garnier products.

First of all I like to cleanse and remove my make up with Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. It is so gentle on the skin yet removes tough make up like eyeliner really well. Next I wash my face with Simple's Kind to Skin Moisturising Facial Wash. I love this stuff because it turns into a foam as I gently rub it into my skin. I then wash that off my face with a face cloth and dry my face gently with a towel. Once I've done that I like to tone my skin with Garnier's Refreshing Toner Start Afresh. This stuff smells amazing and I believe really cleans my pores without being too harsh. These three steps work well for me to keep break outs at bay and keeps my skin a nice even tone.

After cleansing, washing and toning I like to moisturise my face. First I put a pea size amount of Dirty Work's Eye Cream under my eyes with my ring fingers. This product helps keep my under eye area hydrated. Next I apply Garnier Soft Essentials 24hr Nourishing Day Cream all over my face, mainly targeting around my nose and mouth as I tend to get dry patches in these areas.

And that's my skincare routine. Please bare in mind that not all products work with skin types. I have normal to dry skin and I do suffer from sensitive skin as well so I have to be careful with what I use. I hope you've enjoyed my post links for all products are listed below.

Urban Decay | Naked 2 Eyeshadow Palette

For Christmas I was given this amazing eyeshadow palette, which I have absolutely fallen in love with. I have wanted one of the naked palettes for ages but just haven't had the money to splash out on it. But now I finally have it!

Now the colours in this palette are very natural, which I am a bit fan of as I have quite pale skin I don't like to use bright colours prefer to keep it natural. It's a great range between shimmer and matte shadows which are great to work with to create many looks.

I decided to show all the colour swatches on my arm to show how pigmented they are. I also have shown an example of me using the palette. I used the colours Bootycall on my brow bone and inner corner, Tease on my eyebrows, Suspect all over the lid, Halfbaked on the outer corner to middle of the lid and under the eye, Snakebite in the crease, corner and under eye, and finally Blackout lined thinly along the lash line.

This palette is £37 but it is well worth it as you get so many shades of great quality. I would highly recommend if you can afford it!

Bodyshop | Pink Grapefruit & Mango Products

I am a huge fan of the Bodyshop and love trying out their products.

At the moment I have been using Pink Grapefruit shower gel and body puree. The Pink Grapefruit scent is extremely zesty and fresh, which is great for someone like me who likes fruity smells that aren't too sweet. Also I find the price of the shower gel very good value as this product lasts a good 2 months at least, which is amazing for £4! The body puree is a slightly higher price of £8 but again this last for 2 months or more. The body puree is a moisturiser and is very light as it has pink grapefruit seed oil in it. This makes it much lighter than some other moisturisers in the Bodyshop. I would definitely recommend these 2 products to someone who loves a zesty scent.

I have also been trying out one of the famous Bodyshop Body Butters. I have heard great things about many of the body butters and couldn't wait to try out one of them. I went for the Mango Body Butter as I love the Mango shower gel and body lotion. I would say though that the scent of the body butter is slightly different from the shower gel and body lotion. It's almost a fresher version of the scent. I can confirm that this product does work wonders and is especially nice after a long hot bath. I don't use this product everyday however, as it is a heavier moisturiser and find its best to use a couple of times a week. The lip butter was a freebie which I got when I bought these items and is absolutely lovely. As well as being a handy little thing to have in your coat pocket, it smells amazing I do just love the mango smell so much! Definitely would recommend these 2 beauties!
